While remodeling our kitchen I decided that a stainless sink stands out too much in a kitchen and I'd rather have my range hood or hardware be the focal point rather than a sink. We have baltic brown granite from an existing owner and rather than change it out, I've painted cabinets and refreshed everything around the countertops and in turn have come to like the baltic brown. This
Blanco 440194 Diamond Single-Basin Drop-In sink was a big part of that realization. I bought this sink in 2007 in Biscuit when I renovated my kitchen. A perfect sink. I LOVE this sink.

I got my Blanco sink in Anthracite 3 years ago
and couldn't be happier with it. Will never own a divided sink again.
It's great for washing big pots and laughing grandbabies! It is sooooo
easy to clean and looks as new now as when first installed.

This Blanco 440194 sink is everything you expect. Having previously purchased a black Thermocast sink from Home Depot I was hesitant to get another in a similar color. However, where the HD sink was easily stained, scratched, and constructed of [basically] fiberglass, this Blanco sink feels exactly like granite. I believe anyone looking for a black sink would be more than satisfied with this sink.
- Silgranit construction withstands extreme hot and cold fluctuations
- Bowl dimensions 30-1/2 inches by 16-1/2 inches by 9-1/2 inches
- Overall dimensions 33-1/2 inches by 22 inches
- Self-rimming or under-mount installation
- Includes softly rounded drain grooves
Oh, and BUY the stainless grid! That simple little $17 grid protects the sink, serves as a drainer, isolates the things in the sink from whatever you're washing down the disposal. The
Blanco 440194 Diamond Single-Basin Drop-In or Undermount Granite Kitchen Sink, Anthracite weighs about 45 pounds, so it's not a chore to lift into place. I mounted it as a drop in, but you can also mount it as an undermount. The large farmhouse style of this deep and wide sink is perfect for washing those huge baking sheets and stock pots that never fit in a divided one.
The slightly speckled finish of the granite composite gives a nice matte appearance and is easy to clean. The dark color is wonderful for avoiding stains and shows no scratches like porcelin coated models. This sink feels very deep, especially when under-mounted, and has tons of room. I can't say enough good things about this sink.
